Manaslu trekking offers spectacular view through the gorge of the Budhi Gandaki. Around the Manaslu is only permitted to trekking on 1991 by Nepal government for foreigner. Manaslu trek Nepal trail is follows an ancient salt-trading route of Tibet along the Budhi Gandaki River. The trekkers enjoy wilderness of undiscovered classic trekking with outstanding Mountain View from Lho to Bhimthang where you feel like in another paradise of heaven. The Mount Manaslu (8156m) was first climbed on May 9, 1956 by Toshio Imanishi and Gyalzen Norbu, members of a Japanese expedition.
Manaslu trekking another attraction is Samdo village. It is highest village in the Budhi Gandaki valley and is inhabited by Bhotias. From this village spectacular view of the valley and Pang Phuchi village with a backdrop of the Tibetan border.
Manaslu trekking can combine with Tsum region will enjoy an amazing variety of geographical and cultural difference as below the great peaks of Manaslu and Ganesh himal. Tsum is that region which was restricted for tourists for a long time. Now this valley is center of attraction for intrepid trekkers, government has recently opened for the tourists.
The highest pass of the Manaslu circuit trekking is Larke La Pass at 5106m all the way descend to the Dharapani where meets main trail of the Annpurna circuit trek via Bhimthang.

Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival in Nepal, Transfer to Hotel
Upon your arrival at the Kathmandu airport, you will be greeted by our representative. After completing your custom formalities (Visa, etc), pick up your luggage and look for our representative with the Altitude Trails & Adventures display board at the arrival gate. You will be then transferred to your hotel, nearby Thamel as per your requirement. Thamel has great food from all over the world, fabulous shopping and Durbar Square with its several temples and markets are nearby Thamel. Overnight at the hotel
Day 2
Trip preparation and meeting with guide
After breakfast, We will have a briefing session about the trip. Our guide will describe the trek, geographic structure, custom and traditions and about the daily events: trek duration, attractions and share other information. We will also assist you with the trekking gears and help you navigate around stores in Thamel to get them. After the preparation, we will do a little sightseeing around Kathmandu Durbar square and Thamel. If time permits, we will visit Pashupatinath temple to see aarati.
Day 3
Drive to Soti Khola (8hrs)
Early in the morning, we will depart from the bustling streets of Kathmandu to Gorkha to embark on our trek to the Manaslu Circuit. After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we commenced our journey with a drive to Soti Khola, covering a distance of approximately 150 kilometers. The drive is expected to take around 8 hours.
Day 4
Drive to Jagat (1410m, 8hrs)
On this day, after having our warm delicious breakfast, we head to Jagat by jeep. The road to Jagat is full of thrilling adventures. We will be driving along the river bank of the Budhi Gandaki river. We can observe breathtaking landscape views and it will take around 8 hours to reach Jagat where we stay overnight.
Day 5
Trek to Deng (2000m, 6-7hrs)
At 0800 AM, we will commence our trek to Deng village. The trail goes along the Budhi Gandaki river. Deng is a small village at an elevation of 2000 meters above sea level. The approximate trekking distance is 13 kms which will take nearly 6 to 7 hours. Along the trail, we will trek through the pine and rhododendron forest, Buddhist stupas, Monasteries, chortens, prayer flags and cross multiple Suspension bridges. Also We will walk past small villages like Philim, Ekle Bhatti before reaching Deng.
Day 6
Trek to Namrung (2600m, 6-7hrs)
After having our breakfast, we will trek to Namrung which is at an elevation of 2600m. It will take approx. 7 to 8 hours to reach Namrung.The trail goes along the Serang Khola, and on the way, we will cross several suspension bridges. Before reaching Namrung, we pass through Ghap village. Along the way, we will traverse through lush green forests with rhododendrons and pine trees. After crossing the river and walking alongside the banks, we arrive at Namrung, where we will stay overnight. Namrung village is a Tibetan village, as the local people follow traditions from Tibet. In this village, we have the opportunity to observe the traditional and ancient local culture.
Day 7
Trek to Lho (3500m, 6hrs)
After our wonderful night in Namrung, we will trek to Lho. Lho village is at an elevation of 3500 meters and it will take approximately 6 hours to reach there. Along the way today, we can witness the majestic views of Peak 29, Mount Manaslu, and get a close view of the glacier from the lateral moraine. We arrived in Lho after a beautiful 6-hour hike. Lho is a village settlement with a big Monasteries.
Day 8
Trek to Samagaon (3550m, 5hrs)
Today, we will wake up early in the morning to witness the beautiful sunrise, as Manaslu looks incredibly stunning from here. We can enjoy this breathtaking view from the viewpoint above Gompas. After savoring these inspiring views, we will have our breakfast and continue our trek, which will take us from Lho to Samagaon at an elevation of 3550 meters. This total duration of the trek will take approximately 5 hours. Along our trail today, we will cross Hinang river and Damodar river. The trail passes through a forested path and some barley fields, offering majestic views of snow-capped mountains, including Ganesh Himal and Himal Chuli. After a scenic 5-hour hike, we will reach Samagaon.
Day 9
Acclimatization day
On this day, after having our meal, we initiate our rest and acclimatization process by exploring the beautiful landscapes surrounding us. We have the option to take a hike to Manaslu Base Camp or visit the Punggyen Gompa. These activities are essential for helping our bodies acclimatize, as in the coming days, we will need to cross the Larkey La pass at an elevation of 5106 meters. We can also immerse ourselves in the village traditions and culture during our exploration. After touring these beautiful locations and acclimatizing our bodies, we can return to our teahouse and relax for the evening with several cups of tea and a warm meal.
Day 10
Trek to Samdo (3800m, 3hrs)
After Breakfast, we will continue our trek to Samdo village, which is located at an elevation of 3800 meters. The estimated time to reach Samdo is 3 hours. The trail begins with a descent to the Budhi Gandaki River, following the base camp trail. After crossing a wooden bridge, there is a steep climb to a ridge. Along the way, you will get to observe the majestic views of the snow-capped peaks of Manaslu, Samdo, and Dharamshala. The trek is quite easier compared to other days.
Day 11
Trek to Dharmasala (4460m, 4hrs)
Day 12
Trek to Bhimthang via larkey la pass - 5106m (3800m, 7hrs)
Day 13
Trek to Dharapani (1860m, approx. 6hrs)
Day 14
Drive to Besisahar (760m, 5hrs)
Day 15
Drive to Kathmandu (6-7hrs)
Day 16
Leisure/ Departure, Transfer to Airport
