It starts in Besisahar and takes you through different landscapes like forests and fields, all the way up to the highest point. The highest point is Thorong La Pass, which is 5,416 meters high and provides incredible views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains. Along the way, you’ll pass through villages of different ethnic groups like Gurung, Manang, and Thakali, giving you a glimpse of local traditions. The trek takes about 18 to 21 days, and you’ll see highlights like the Muktinath Temple and beautiful natural scenery. There are places to stay, like teahouses and guesthouses, where you can rest and get food. The best time to trek Annapurna Circuit are Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November), although you can trek throughout the year but there will be high risk of big snowfall which block the trekking trails

 

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a fantastic journey that takes you to the beautiful Annapurna Mountains in Nepal. It is one of the Famous trek in Nepal. You’ll walk through fields, villages, and green forests with rhododendron flowers. The trek starts from Nayapul, and it usually takes 7 to 10 days to complete the trek. But with construction of Motorable road, the trek can be easily completed in less than a week.  The trekking trail is approx. 85 kms, making it an average walking distance of 14 kms per day (6 hrs per day) over the duration of 7 days. On the first day of the trek, It will be a 2hrs drive to Nayapul from Pokhara, and a 6 hours trek to Ghandruk village. As you get closer to Annapurna Base Camp, you’ll see amazing views of big mountains like Annapurna I (8,091 meters) and Machapuchare (6,993 meters). The base camp itself is a calm area surrounded by huge mountains, giving you a special and humble feeling. On the way, you’ll get chance to meet Gurung communities, experiencing a bit of Himalayan culture. The trek is especially nice in spring when the rhododendron flowers make the landscape colorful. There are many tea houses along the way, making the Annapurna Base Camp Trek a simple but wonderful adventure.

 

Mardi Himal Trek

Mardi Himal Trek is another best trek in Annapurna region. It is an amazing adventure trek which promises spectacular views of Mt. Machhapuchhre (6993m), Annapurna South (7219m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and Gangapurna (7455m). It’s a special journey that takes you to the base of Mardi Himal and the famous Machapuchre peak, which looks like a fish’s tail. As you trek, you’ll walk on small paths through beautiful rhododendron forests until you reach about 3,300 meters high. And from there we will see incredible views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchre, Annapurna south and Hiunchuli. The trekking trail of mardi himal starts at Kande (1 hrs drive from pokhara), goes all the way up to the Base camp of Mardi himal and ends at Sidhing village (4 hrs drive to pokhara). The whole trip duration of the trek is 11 days, in which the trekking duration is only 5 days.

 

Ghorepani-Poonhill Trek

The Ghorepani-Poon Hill trek is a short and relatively easy trek in the beautiful Annapurna region of Nepal. It all starts in Nayapul, and along the way, you’ll pass through beautiful villages like Tikhedhunga and Ghorepani. The trek offers you to terraced fields and rhododendron forests as you make your way to the stunning Poon Hill at 3,210 meters. The early morning hike there is a highlight, giving you a breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. The trail then leads you to Tadapani and Ghandruk, offering not just amazing landscapes but also a chance to experience the rich local culture of the Gurung and Magar communities. The trek ends with a descent back to Nayapul, leaving you with wonderful memories of diverse landscapes and the warm hospitality of the people you meet. Khopra Trek

 

The Khopra Trek is a lesser-known trekking route in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Starting from Nayapul, it often includes a visit to the famous Poon Hill for panoramic mountain views. The main highlight is reaching Khopra Ridge, offering breathtaking views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. These trek take us through beautiful rhododendron forest, charming villages, and terraced fields. Trekkers can stay in community lodges, experiencing local culture. The trek takes around 7-12 days, is considered moderate in difficulty, and requires necessary permits.
