The trek also provides stunning views of the majestic Himalayas.To embark on this adventure, one must first undertake a day-long journey from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi, which typically takes around 6 hours by road. Syabru Besi serves as the starting point for the Langtang Valley Trek. As one progresses along the trail, the final settlement in the Langtang Valley is Kyanjin Gompa, located at an elevation of 3800 meters. A popular side excursion from Kyanjin Gompa is the day hike to Tserko Ri or Kyanjin Ri, offering even more spectacular vistas of the surrounding landscapes.It is worth noting that Langtang Village, tragically, was devastated by a massive landslide during the earthquake in April 2015. You can reach Syabrubesi in one of two ways: a scenic road trip or a comfortable jeep ride. The road journey typically takes 6-8 hours, while jeeps offer a quicker option, especially during the challenging monsoon season. After arriving in Syabrubesi, the true adventure begins as you embark on the Langtang Valley trek. This trek offer’s beautiful landscapes, lush forests, and encounters with traditional villages. Along the route, there are lots of teahouses and lodges where you can shelter or take a break. The trek itself takes around 7-10 days, depending on your pace and chosen route. On the second day, you start our hike to Lama Hotel which will take around 6 hours. Through the dense forest of Bamboo along with Langtang Khola. On the Third day, Trekkers can trek up to Langtang village which will take around 6 hours. One fourth day, after having your breakfast you will head towards Kyanjin Gompa at the elevation of 3798m, which will take around 4 hours and the rest of the day you can explore the village. On your 5th day, trekkers can explore Tserko Ri Peak situated at the elevation of 4970m and it will take around 5-6 hours. Take your time to acclimatize, delight in the breathtaking scenery, and experience the rich local culture. Upon completing the trek, you’ll retrace your steps to Kathmandu, either by bus or jeep, bringing back unforgettable memories of your Langtang Valley adventure Best Season to trek Langtang Valley The best season to trek Langtang Valley in Nepal is in the Spring and Autumn season.Spring (March to May): Spring is considered one of the best times for traveling and trekking in Nepal, including Langtang Valley.
