Bhange jharana is also known as the “Mailung waterfall” as it is located nearby Mailung khola. It is located at Dandagaun, in Nuwakot district. Bhange jharana is one of the biggest waterfalls near Kathmandu valley. Danda gaon is approx. 80kms from Machhappokhari, Kathmandu via Tokha route. As the route passes through Gurje Bhanjyang at shivapuri National park, on a good weather day, the majestic view of Ganesh himal range can be observed. There are many other small waterfalls around the Bhange jharana. Despite being only 70kms far from kathmandu, it is better to plan this trip for 2 days.
The view point is at danda gaun village. From the village the view point is only 15 minutes away whereas to reach the base of the waterfall, it takes 2-3 hrs or the base can be visited via motrable road on the way to danda gaon.

              0730 AM: Gather at Machhapokhari
              0800 AM: Drive to Dandagaon, Nuwakot 
              1030 AM: Lunch break at Bidur
              1400 PM: Reach Dandagaon, sightseeing and o/n stay at homestay

Day 2: Drive back to Kathmandu (80kms, 5hrs)
              0700 AM: Breakfast and Visit Viewpoint.
              0900 AM: Drive back to Kathmandu
