1. Hattiban Rock Climbing Area

Season: The best season to rock climb is September to mid-June.
Rock Type: Limestone.

Notes: Hattiban has been an international rock-climbing destination for decades. It is one of the most popular bouldering destinations near Kathmandu, Nepal. You can contact a reliable travel company in Thamel for the trip, and Altitude Trails and Adventures are popular ones.

2. Nagarjun Forest Rock Climbing

Season: Mid-September to mid-June.
Rock Type: Limestone.
Type of Climbing:
Notes: This is another famous place for sport climbing just 3km from the capital city of Kathmandu. The crag is about 12-15m high, providing climbing excitement for all levels of climbers and a great opportunity for hiking circled by lush green forest with amazing valley views on a clear day.

3. Bimalnagar, Tahahu, Rock Climbing

Season: The best season to rock climb is mid-September to mid-June.
Rock Type: Limestone.
Type of Climbing: Multi-pitch/Lead/Top rope climbing
Notes: Another renowned rock wall for climbing, where you can enjoy the view of amazing Mountain Annapurna, Mt.Manaslu, and the fresh Marshyandi River flowing. The rock is sharp, mostly low-angle limestone, with overhanging routes mixed in. Here we have good options for several multi-pitch climbs. At the top of the climb, one must explore the biggest natural cave in Nepal – Siddha Cave. The crag is about 140km northwest of Kathmandu. 4. Thame Rock Climbing

Season: The best season to rock climb is mid-September to mid-June.
Type of Climbing: Multi-pitch/Lead/Top rope climbing
Notes: One of the very popular Outdoor Rock-climbing spots in the 3800m Thame village at Everest region, situated in the eastern part of Nepal, nearby Sagarmatha. There are about 17 different routes ranging from 4c to 7c, multi-pitch, and 200m height at this rock-climbing area.

5. Langtang Valley

Rock Type: Unfossiliferous
sedimentary and metasedimentary.
Type of Climbing:
Multi-pitch climbing, via ferrata, bouldering.
Notes: This is a newly
explored mountain valley, around 122 km from Kathmandu. The trek starts and
takes you to the magnificent Kyanjin Gomba. On the way, you can explore
limitless rocks of all levels with our friendly rock guides.
