The Annapurna circuit is one of the most popular and preferred treks in Nepal. It is also one of the longest trek and can be customized according to the preference of the trekkers. The total trekking distance varies from 160 kms and 235 kms around the Annapurna range. The trekking trails starts from besisahar, lamjung and goes around via manang, thorang la pass (5416m) , Mustang , beni , ghorepani and ends in Pokhara.

Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival in Nepal, Transfer to Hotel
Upon your arrival at the Kathmandu airport, you will be greeted by our representative. After completing your custom formalities (Visa, etc), pick up your luggage and look for our representative with the Altitude Trails & Adventures display board at the arrival gate. You will be then transferred to your hotel, nearby Thamel as per your requirement. Thamel has great food from all over the world, fabulous shopping and Durbar square with its several temples and markets are nearby Thamel. Overnight at the hotel
Day 2
Trip preparation and meeting with guide
After breakfast, We will have a briefing session about the trip. Our guide will describe the trek, geographic structure, custom and traditions and about the daily events: trek duration, attractions and share other information. We will also assist you with the trekking gears and help you navigate around stores in Thamel to get them. After the preparation, if time permits, we will do a little sightseeing around Kathmandu Durbar square and Thamel.
Day 3
Drive to Besisahar (6-7hrs)
On our first day, we will start our journey by taking an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar. It will be approximately a 175 kilometers drive which will take around 6 to 7 hours which takes you through breathtaking landscape along with Trisuli river and Marsyangdi river.
Day 4
Drive to Chame (5-6hrs)
After having our breakfast we will take a 4wd jeep drive to Chame. The total distance to Chame is 66 kilometers and it will take around 5-6 hours of drive through thrilling adventures and breathtaking views. The road goes along with Marsyangdi river passing through Syange village, Jagat, Chamche waterfall.
Day 5
Trek to Pisang (3300m, 6hrs)
On our fifth day of the journey, we embarked on a trek alongside the Marsyangdi River to reach Pisang, situated at an elevation of 3300 meters. This leg of the journey is expected to take approximately 6 hours of walking. We set off early in the morning, right after enjoying our breakfast. The trail winds through a landscape characterized by lush green forests and apple orchards. Along the way, we are treated to the breathtaking sight of Annapurna II to the South and Pisang Peak to the North. This path also grants us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in local traditions and culture. It's noteworthy that most of the locals here follow the Tibetan way of life.
Day 6
Trek to Manang (3500m, 7hrs)
After having our breakfast we start our hike to Manang which is at the elevation of 3500m and it will take around 7 hrs. After hiking for some minutes we will ascend through pine forest and cross several suspension bridges over Marsyangdi river. The trail goes through Tibetan settlements, and we get a chance to experience more about Buddhist culture and we get a chance to explore beautiful monasteries. Before we reached Manang we surpassed different monasteries. One of them is the largest monastery in Manang, Barge Monastery.
Day 7
Acclimatization day
Acclimatization plays a key role in preparing our body for trekking in high altitude. As the elevation increases the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere also decreases. As we are trekking up to altitudes of more than 5000m in the coming days, resting at Manag helps us to acclimatize easily. The best way to acclimatize is walking at high altitude and sleeping at lower altitude. So, on our 3rd day of trekking, we will hike up to an elevation of 4150M( Tilicho Base Camp) . Early in the morning, After having our breakfast we will hike up to the Ice lake and spend the rest of the day enjoying the panoramic view.
Day 8
Trek to Tilicho Base camp (4150m, 5hrs)
After completing our acclimatization process and exploring the surrounding areas of Manang, we eagerly resume our trekking journey, towards another exciting destination: Tilicho Lake. Today, we commence our expedition by departing from Manang and heading towards Tilicho Base Camp, which is situated at an elevation of 4150 meters. The journey is expected to last around 5 hours as we follow the path along the Marsyangdi River. The trail leads us through a coniferous forest and takes us past several monasteries. During this day's trek, our route mainly involves ascending in elevation. Along the way, we pass through the charming village of Shree Kharka, nestled at an altitude of 4000 meters. However, before we reached Tilicho Base Camp, we encountered a section of the trail that is Landslide Area. Trekking through this area proves to be incredibly adventurous and thrilling. Overcoming the challenges of the landslide area, we eventually arrive at Tilicho Base Camp, where we will stay overnight.
Day 9
Explore Tilicho Lake (4900m 5-6hrs)
Tilicho Lake is the highest lake in Nepal at the elevation of 4900m above sea level. On this day we start our hike early in the morning to Tilicho lake, it will take around 2-3 hours. The trails very adventures and breathtaking as it is mostling ascending. In religious significance Hindus believe that Tilicho lake is the ancient Kak Bhusandi mentioned in the epic Ramayana.
Day 10
Trek to Yak kharka (4000m; 5hrs)
Following our incredible hike to Tilicho Lake, we retrace our steps back to Khangsar, and subsequently continue to Yak Kharka, positioned at an elevation of 4000 meters. The duration of hiking for this day is estimated to be around 5 hours. Along the route, we traverse through numerous pastures and juniper forests. Our path leads us through various small villages, providing us with the opportunity to delve into their distinct cultures and traditions. Additionally, we are treated to the sight of yak and horse pastures as we progress. After hiking for a certain duration, we will arrive at the awe-inspiring valley known as Yak Kharka.
Day 11
Trek to Thorang phedi (4450m, 4hrs)
After having our breakfast, we started our hike to Thorang Phedi, which is situated at an altitude of 4450m. The hike is expected to take around 4-5 hours. Along the way to Thorong Phedi, we encounter several small tea houses, as the trail passes through the Ledar village.
Our hiking route for the day commences with a gradual ascent to a ridge. Subsequently, we begin a gentle descent and traverse a dramatic wooden bridge over the Marsyangdi river. Upon crossing the bridge, we ascend the mountains once again, followed by navigating a narrow trail along a slope. This trail eventually leads us to our final destination for the day, Thorang Phedi.
Day 12
Trek to Muktinath (3800m, 8hrs) via Thorang la pass (5416m)
Today, we set out on our hike early in the morning, taking the time to warm up our bodies, knowing that this day will be truly remarkable. On this day, we will conquer one of the highest passes in the world: the 'Thorong La Pass,' situated at an elevation of 5416m. This pass stands as the pinnacle of our trek, and the journey to reach Muktinath via the Thorong La Pass is estimated to take around 8 hours.
From the vantage point of Thorong La Pass, we are rewarded with the breathtaking, spectacular views of majestic Himalayan peaks. Gazing southward, the Annapurna range graces our sight. As we press forward through the crisp, icy air and the challenges of high altitude, we relish in the unparalleled beauty of these mountains and peaks.
Having successfully crossed one of the world's highest passes, the 'Thorong La Pass,' we begin our descent towards Muktinath—a revered destination for both Hindus and Buddhists. This sacred place boasts an array of temples and shrines, inviting exploration and reflection. Muktinath is nestled at an altitude of 3800m, providing a serene culmination to our journey.
Day 13
Trek to Jomsom (2720m, 5hrs)
This marks our final day of hiking, and fortunately, the trail ahead promises to be less challenging compared to yesterday's hiking. Our path leads us on a descent to Jomsom, situated at an elevation of 2720m. This descent is anticipated to take approximately 5 hours.
After several hours of hiking, we arrived at a significant locale known as Kagbeni. Renowned as a prominent religious site for Hindu pilgrims, Kagbeni holds special significance. Here, we will pause to enjoy our lunch before embarking on the last leg of our day's journey, ultimately reaching our final destination, Jomsom.
Day 14
Drive to Pokhara (800m)
Jomsom serves as the capital of Mustang district of Dhaulagiri zone. This charming small town is situated at an elevation of 2720m and is cradled amidst the majestic peaks of Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Nilgiri. The village offers an opportunity to immerse oneself in Tibetan culture, as a significant portion of the community follows Tibetan cultural practices.
Today, following our breakfast, we embarked on a jeep ride to Pokhara. The journey spans 155 kilometers and is estimated to take approximately 7-8 hours, venturing through thrilling off-road paths and offering an adventure-filled experience.
Day 15
Rest day in pokhara
Pokhara is one of the popular cities in Nepal. Despite being at an altitude of 800m, The Mountains are only 20 kms air distance from here, and the city offers an amazing view of the Annapurna mountain range. There are many places for sightseeing and the city is a hub for different adventure activities. The Phewa Lakeside is also popular for the Night life. There are many pubs, bars, clubs, restaurants and hotels. As we have just completed the treacherous trek, we can rest the whole day and go out to experience the nightlife or you can opt out for sightseeing or participate in adventure activities like Paragliding, zip line, Bungy, Hikes or others.
Day 16
Drive to Kathmandu (200kms, 7-8hrs)
Early in the morning after having our breakfast we will drive back to kathmandu leaving behind all the annapurna range mountains but carrying the beautiful memories of the trek. It will take around 7/8 hours to drive to reach Kathmandu.
Day 17
Leisure/ Departure, Transfer to Airport
If you have an Extra day and want to travel to more places in Nepal, we will assist to entertain your further stay. Or If you have a departing flight from Nepal, Our team will accompany you to the airport.
